Powder vs Paint

Why Powder Coating Wins

Not just a different product. A fundamentally better finish.

Powder Coating
Recommended

2-3x thicker than spray paint. Resists chips, scratches, and impacts

Fully waterproof. Doesn't peel, bubble, or rust through over time

Uniform color cured at 400°F. No drips, runs, or brush marks

Zero VOCs. Environmentally safe, no solvent off-gassing

Lasts years with minimal maintenance. Wipe clean, doesn't fade fast

Spray Paint
Not Recommended

Thin coats chip easily, especially on wheel edges and spoke faces

Moisture gets under the coat over time, causing rust and bubbling

Uneven coverage. Hard to prevent runs and orange peel texture

High VOC solvent content. Harmful fumes during application

Typically needs redoing within 1-2 years with regular driving

Our Process

How Powder Coating Works

A four-step process that guarantees a flawless, durable result every time.

01

Strip & Prep

All existing finish is fully stripped. Bare metal is blasted clean for maximum adhesion.

02

Degrease & Clean

Chemical bath removes any oils, contaminants, and residues before coating is applied.

03

Electrostatically Coated

Powder is applied electrostatically. Charged particles bond uniformly to every surface.

04

Cured at 400°F

Oven-cured at 400°F. The powder melts, flows, and hardens into a single tough shell.
